The Chiles High School Department of Theatre is proud to present The Lightning Thief from Oct 12th-14th 2023. There will be two 7:30 PM shows on October 12th and October 14th at the Chiles High School Auditorium with a 2:00 PM matinee on October 14th. All tickets will be general admission at $10. All shows will take place at Lawton Chiles High School.
The Lightning Thief was written by Joe Tracz, with music and lyrics by Rob Rokicki. Based on the 2005 novel of the same name by Rick Riordan, the plot revolves around Percy Jackson, a teenager who learns he is a demigod and that the Greek gods are real. When Zeus’ lightning bolt is stolen, Percy is accused. To prove his innocence, he goes on a journey with his friends to find the bolt and through the journey, what makes you different, makes you stronger!
