CollegeTown Block Party kicks off at 6pm with live music from House of Rock. Free for all ages, with food, drinks, and FSU pride filling the streets.

Blessing of Animals at Mission San Luis October 3, 2026

On Oct. 3, celebrate the 22nd Annual Blessing of Animals at Mission San Luis with free pet blessings, activities, and pet-themed crafts. Aunt Louise’s Fall Farm Days October 3 – November 15, 2026

Learn about Tallahassee’s history through the spooky stories of our resident ghosts and other grim tales. You’ll discover which downtown Tallahassee buildings are haunted, hear the tales of several Tallahassee tragedies, learn about some infamous Tallahassee duels, and visit the grave of the Tallahassee witch.

Historic Monticello Ghost Tours Various dates in October

Venture 25 miles east of Tallahassee to Monticello, Florida, known for being one of the most haunted small towns in the south. Home to Indian mounds, historic buildings, superstitious tourists, history lovers and supernatural hobbyists. Visitors can walk the town’s dark streets, take an exclusive look inside the old jail, and explore the ghostly nooks and crannies with an expert guide.

Zoobilee: Live Music Event October 23, 2026

Zoobilee returns Friday, October 23, 2026, from 7:00–10:00 PM at the Tallahassee Museum. Tallahassee’s favorite Halloween costume party features live music, delicious eats from top-tier local restaurants, and a premium open bar. Tickets include a full dinner and support the Museum’s education, preservation, and conservation programs. Costumes are encouraged, and this is a 21+ event. Tickets required.

Held the Friday before FAMU home football games, this free outdoor concert at the corner of Georgia & Macomb Street runs 6 PM – 10 PM. Come for the music, stay for the food, the culture, and that unmistakable Frenchtown energy.

Halloween Family Fun Day at Goodwood October 25, 2026

Goodwood Museum & Gardens and WFSU join forces to present a free Halloween Family Fun Day on the Front Lawn from 3-5 PM. This family festival includes costumes, hay rides, face-painting, storytelling, arts & crafts, and other activities for kids with community partners — all the treats without the tricks.
