Each spring, Tallahassee’s LGBTQ+ community takes to the streets to celebrate the rich diversity Florida’s Capital City has to offer. A weeklong celebration, PRIDEFEST features parties, pageants and a street festival in downtown Tallahassee. More than a festival, PRIDEFEST provides the LGBTQ+ community with a chance to come together, united, to promote peace and understanding, and to educate the rest of the community about the importance of diversity, acceptance, and equality, providing our community with an outlet where visitors and residents can be themselves, accepted and loved, without fear of reproach.
