Sand Pine Trail is situated in Bald Point State Park which is located on Alligator Point, where Ochlockonee Bay meets Apalachee Bay. This park has some of the most picturesque nature views that exist along the entire Gulf Coast of Northern Florida. Hosting an impressive 4,065 acres of upland terrain, Bald Point State Park offers diverse on-land and water-based activities, including hiking, bird watching, fishing, paddling, swimming, and even windsurfing.
Adjacent to the main entrance of the park, Sand Pine Trail stretches for 1.78 miles, taking you on a magnificent journey through an ancient dune system that is home to a unique ecosystem of sand pine scrub. The trail will also lead you into a scenic area that overlooks Alligator Harbor.
Featured Uses: Hiking, camping, nature and wildlife viewing, picnicking, swimming, sunbathing, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, wind surfing. Leashed dogs are permitted.

Hours of Operation: 8:00am until sundown
Fees: $4.00 per vehicle and $2.00 for pedestrians and bicyclists.
