- Description
The “Run Like a Champion” Strava Challenge & Champions Sweepstakes (the “Contest”) is sponsored by Visit Tallahassee, 311 S. Calhoun Street, Suite 540, Tallahassee, FL, 32301 (the “Sponsor”) and administered by US Sweepstakes & Fulfillment Company, 625 Panorama Trail, Suite 2100, Rochester, NY, 14625 (the “Administrator”) (collectively, the “Contest Entities”). The Contest invites eligible participants to complete a 10K running challenge and opt in to receive a Challenge reward and enter the Sweepstakes. The Sweepstakes will award one (1) Grand Prize package as described below.
- Contest Period
The Challenge and Sweepstakes entry period (“Contest Entry Period”) begins on September 29, 2025, at 12:00 AM and ends on November 10, 2025, at 11:59 PM. All entries must be received by November 13, 2025, at 11:59 PM. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Agreement to Official Rules
By participating, you agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Contest Entities, which are final and binding. The information provided will be used in accordance with the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, which can be found at https://visittallahassee.com/privacy-policy/.
- Eligibility
The Contest is open only to legal residents of the contiguous United States and the District of Columbia who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, and immediate family or household members of Sponsor, Administrator, and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible.
- How to Enter
To enter, eligible participants must:
- a) Complete the “Run Like a Champion” Strava Challenge by running a 10K (the official World Cross Country Championships course distance) during the Contest Entry Period. Then complete the form available upon completion.
b) Only one (1) entry per person/email address is permitted. Entries by any other means or exceeding this limit will be void.
Participants must opt into the Challenge reward. If a prize is involved, this is where participants must enter to win. The Completion URL must be live before the Challenge is published. Strava CRM tools may append metadata to this link. Link shorteners are not permitted.
- Entry Requirements
All entries must be complete, accurate, and submitted by the participant. Incomplete, illegible, or fraudulent entries will be disqualified. Entries must not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights.
- Opt-In & Communications
By entering, participants agree to receive notifications regarding the Challenge, reward, and Sweepstakes by email. Participants may opt out of future communications at any time by following the opt-out instructions in any email. Opting out after entry will not affect eligibility.
- Challenge Reward & Prize
Challenge Reward:
All participants who complete the Challenge and opt in at the Completion URL will unlock a reward (e.g., “Unlock a chance to witness the World Athletics Cross Country Championships Tallahassee 26!”). Prizes subject to confirmation prior to launch.
Sweepstakes Grand Prize:
One (1) winner will receive:
- Two tickets to the 2026 World Athletics Cross Country Championships in Tallahassee, Florida
- A two-night hotel stay
- Dining gift cards to local spots
- Exclusive event prizes/swag
Total approximate retail value: $1,000. No substitution or transfer of prizes, except as provided herein at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Prize may not be redeemed for cash.
NOTE: Under no circumstances will Strava manage prize fulfillment, determine winners, or share email addresses with Sponsor or Administrator.
- Winner Selection & Notification
One (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Contest Entry Period. The winner will be notified by email within 10 days of the end of the Contest Entry Period. The winner must respond within two (2) calendar days to claim the prize, providing all required information. If a selected winner does not respond in time or is ineligible, an alternate may be selected.
- Claiming Prize
Winner must provide required documentation (proof of eligibility, W-9, affidavit of eligibility, and any other required forms) before prize delivery. Winner is responsible for all taxes and expenses not specified. Prizes will be delivered directly by Sponsor or Administrator; Strava is not involved in fulfillment.
- Publicity Release
By entering, participants grant Contest Entities the right to use their name, likeness, and entry details for promotional purposes without further compensation, except were prohibited by law.
- Limitation of Liability
By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Contest Entities and Strava from any claims or damages arising from participation or prize acceptance/use. Contest Entities are not responsible for technical, hardware, or software malfunctions, or lost/delayed entries.
- Disputes
All disputes will be governed by the laws of the State of Florida and must be resolved individually in state or federal courts located in Florida.
- Winner’s List
For the winner’s name, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Visit Tallahassee, 311 Calhoun Street, Suite 540, Tallahassee, Florida, 32301, Attn: “Run Like a Champion” Winner’s List, after November 13, 2025.
