This beautiful park is located right off US 319 south of Tallahassee, and contains miles of trails leading to a series of sinkholes, big and small. The unique terrain that consists of underlying limestone has created a landscape referred to as karst topography, which is rich with impressive geological features like sinkholes, depressions, and natural bridges.

The trail system consists of two loops, the 3.1-mile Sinkhole Trail (blazed blue) and the 2.3 mile Gum Swamp Trail (blazed lime green) – and a 0.5 mile cross-trail that they both share to make their loops. Each trail features over 20 species of trees and 75 different plants, along with wildlife including gopher tortoises, deer, turkey, hawks, raccoons, snakes, and salamanders. All trails are considered beginner level and are great for people of all ages to explore.
