Tallahassee State College serves more than 14,000 students in university transfer and career preparation programs. Approximately 75 percent of TSC's Associate in Arts degree graduates go on to a state university within one year and many attend FSU and FAMU. The College offers career degrees and certificates in health care, computer and information technology, criminal justice and public safety, business and management, education, engineering technology, and manufacturing. Hallmarks of TSC include small classes and excellent teaching, individualized advising services and well-equipped facilities. Free tutoring and other academic support services are available to students at the William D. Law, Jr. Learning Commons. The Student Union and Lifetime Sports Complex are the hubs of student life on the main campus. TSC's regional service centers (Quincy House, Wakulla Center, TSC Capitol Center) help meet local needs, while the Center for Workforce Development provides job training, professional certification and adult education programs. The Florida Public Safety Institute, located in Quincy, offers entry-level and advanced training in law enforcement, firefighting, public safety and criminal intelligence.

A cat that loves to swim? Meet Marina. 🌊🐈

She’s a rare fishing cat making her public debut tomorrow, Saturday, July 11, at the Tallahassee Museum! Native to South and Southeast Asian wetlands, these specialized hunters have partially webbed paws and water-resistant fur made for diving.

Tomorrow is the ultimate double-feature: catch a glimpse of Marina, and then stay for the annual Swamp Stomp Music Festival from 4 PM–9 PM!
