"The Story Social" Theatrical Readings

The Artist’s Workshop, Tallahassee’s progressive theatrical company, brings The Story Social to Midtown Reader Thursday, July 23 at 6 p.m.

The Story Social will feature live theatrical readings from literary works, including Project Hail Mary, Fourth Wing, Remarkably Bright Creatures, Throne of Glass, and Great Big Beautiful Life. Each reading will run 10-15 minutes with short breaks in between.

Included in the program will be a sneak peek of the original production Bottom’s Dream, premiering at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland in August.

The event will include a silent auction on book-themed items and locally sourced goods.

The Story Social is a fundraiser for the upcoming Edinburgh Fringe Festival – the largest theatre festival in the world. The suggested donation is $15.

Midtown Reader is located at 1123 Thomasville Road in Tallahassee.
