Tallahassee Swing Band Celebrates 37th Anniversary of Weekly Dance Tradition

The Tallahassee Swing Band is proud to announce its 37th Annual Celebration, honoring nearly four decades of keeping the Big Band era alive in North Florida. Since its founding in the late 1970s and the inception of its beloved weekly Tuesday night dance at the American Legion in 1989, the band has become a staple of the local music and social scene. To mark this milestone, the community is invited to an evening of nostalgia, rhythm, and celebration on Tuesday, July 21. Attendees are encouraged to dust off their dancing shoes and experience the music that has brought generations together for lasting friendships and unforgettable nights.
