Wild turkey was Mrs. Elisabeth “Pansy” Poe’s favorite gamebird, and her sporting art collection reflects that admiration beautifully. Join us for a special curator-led tour where we’ll quite literally “talk turkey!”

This lighthearted yet informative experience will explore the majestic wild turkey as seen through the eyes of renowned artists and illustrators represented in Mrs. Poe’s collection. You’ll hear fun facts about our native wild turkey and gain a deeper appreciation for the role turkeys have played in the sporting traditions of the Red Hills region.
