Acts, A City Rising musical

The entire family will be swept back in time to the first century as we follow the heroes of the early church in their triumphs and trials.  Peter, the Rock heals the lame and baptizes many into the faith.  Barnabas, sacrifices for the good of the church and encourages the new believers.  Saul meets Jesus and is blinded until Ananias miraculously heals him.  Stephen is stoned as the crowd covers their ears and refuses to listen to the truth. They are tempted, thrown in prison and even killed for their faith, yet they trust and obey the Lord through it all. Don’t miss this talented cast! One weekend only!

This is a 2-hour Broadway style production that will have the crowd laughing and crying.  Starting when the Holy Spirit comes on the disciples like tongues of fire on Pentecost, the believers can’t help praising the Lord and sharing the good news.  Friday night’s show will be interpreted for the deaf.
