Downtown Getdown
October 3, 2025
The Downtown GetDowns are back for 2025 with events scheduled for two dates: September 19th and October 3rd. The events take place on the Adams Street Commons at the corner of Adams Street and College Avenue from 6:00-10:00PM. The series is free to the public and will include live music from local bands, the Fun 4 Tally Kids Zone, performances by community dance groups, and numerous food and craft vendors. Downtown GetDown series brings together the best local food vendors, favorite local musicians, and activities for kids of all ages. See you on Adams Street!
Blessing of Animals at Mission San Luis

On Oct. 4, celebrate the Blessing of Animals at Mission San Luis with free pet blessings, activities, and pet-themed crafts. Bring your pets to receive individual blessings in the reconstructed 17th-century church and enjoy booths from local animal organizations, living history displays, and food vendors.
Night Flight: Supermoon Edition at the Tallahassee Museum

Moon Over Maclay: A Jazz Concert

The Annual Moon Over Maclay concert is back again with a great music line-up playing in the gardens as a full moon will rise over Lake Hall! This is the Friends of Maclay Gardens 14th Annual Moon Over Maclay jazz concert at Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park. This year’s date is Sunday October 5th from 6:00-9:00 pm; the gate opens at 5:00pm. Music lovers bring a blanket, lawn chairs, picnic supper, and beverages of your choice. Choose a place on the lawn in front of the Maclay house, relax under the moonlight and enjoy great music.
