Free School Sports Physicals for Student-Athletes

Redemption Orthodontics is hosting a free school sports physical event to help local middle and high school student-athletes prepare for the upcoming school year.

Many families may not know that Florida high school student-athletes will have a new ECG/EKG screening requirement beginning with the 2026–2027 school year. According to FHSAA, an ECG performed on or after July 1, 2024 can satisfy the requirement, and families are encouraged to use Who We Play For, school athletic directors/trainers, or healthcare providers for screening opportunities.

At this event, students can complete their required school sports physicals and families can learn more about ECG screening registration through Who We Play For. The goal is to make the back-to-school sports process easier, more accessible, and less confusing for local families.

This free community event is made possible with the support of local APRNs and healthcare professionals who are volunteering their time to serve Tallahassee-area students.

Registration is required, and space is limited.
