The Fairgrounds 100 acre complex is home to a variety of events from very large outdoor public festivals to small private gatherings features six 12,000 square foot exhibit buildings (two with heat & air conditioning), a cattle barn with show ring, 10 permanent food booths, three separate restroom facilities, an information booth, acres of parking space and over 300 RV hookups with electric and water connection.

Enjoy a historical walking tour of Cascades Park on May 5 at 5 p.m., beginning near the Edison Restaurant parking area led by local historians. Learn about the location of the original Cascades waterfall, the First Florida Capitol Project, Smokey Hollow, the Prime Meridian, and much more.

The tour is free, open to the public, and will last about an hour.

Celebrate Earth Day by visiting the enchanting Live Oak at Lichgate! 🌳 Its vast canopy has watched over Tallahassee for centuries, providing shade and solace to those who visit.

Built by FSU English professor Laura Jepsen and named for the gates of medieval England, Lichgate Cottage is reminiscent of the fairytale cottages of childhood stories. The grounds include butterfly, perennial, and daffodil gardens, a labyrinth, and a magnificent Live Oak tree dating back to the days of Shakespeare.
