On January 10, Tallahassee didn’t just host a race; we made history.
The World Athletics Cross Country Championships Tallahassee 26 was a resounding success, bringing over 10,000 attendees to Apalachee Regional Park and showcasing our community to viewers across 70 countries and domestically via CNBC and Peacock.
As World Athletics President Sebastian Coe noted during the event, “Tallahassee is certainly the cross country capital of the United States, if not the world.”
