Maritime Hammock Loop is situated in Bald Point State Park which is located on Alligator Point, where Ochlockonee Bay meets Apalachee Bay. This park has some of the most picturesque nature views that exist along the entire Gulf Coast of Northern Florida. Hosting an impressive 4,065 acres of upland terrain, Bald Point State Park offers diverse on-land and water-based activities, including hiking, bird watching, fishing, paddling, swimming, and even windsurfing.
Spanning for 1.1 miles, this unpaved trail will guide you through an ancient maritime oak hammock before leading you out into a beautiful beach, where sand pipers can be spotted feeding in the surf along the wrack line.
Featured Uses: Hiking, camping, nature and wildlife viewing, picnicking, swimming, sunbathing, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, wind surfing. Leashed dogs are permitted.

Hours of Operation: 8:00am until sundown
Fees: $4.00 per vehicle and $2.00 for pedestrians and bicyclists.
