The Indianhead trail is a magnificent gem of nature carved out within a large neighborhood that is situated behind Apalachee Parkway. This unpaved trail stretches for 0.8 miles, making it perfect for beginner level runners and walkers alike. Experience the wonders of nature as you jog through a path surrounded by lush foliage, pass by a creek with local wildlife and through picturesque areas shaded by large trees.
The Indianhead Greenway has also hosted a variety of events such as the Women’s Distance Festival 5K. Residents from all over the area frequently visit to enjoy this little slice of nature and the park’s wide array of amenities. This area is a prime example of how important nature and the development of parks are to defining a community.
Featured Uses: Running and walking. Leashed dogs are permitted.
