As a featured stop on the road to America’s Semiquincentennial (2026), the Florida Historic Capitol Museum is the best place to reflect on George Washington’s legacy and Florida`s role in American history. Take a closer look at the iconic `Lansdowne Portrait` of our first president. This stunning 1935 reproduction by Emmaline Buchholz captures the grandeur of Washington’s presidency.

🌪️ Festival Production: The Tempest
Under the stars at the Adderley Amphitheater, experience Shakespeare’s magical tale of power, forgiveness, and wonder starring William Ragsdale of Fright Night and Herman’s Head fame.
🎓 The Bardlings present The Winter’s Tale
Our talented student actors (rising grades 6–12) take the stage before the evening performances on Feb. 21 and 22—don’t miss this joyful, moving production.

Saturday, Feb. 21 – Enjoy The Tempest with American Sign Language interpretation at 7:30 PM
Sunday, Feb. 22 - Enjoy The Winter’s Tale with American Sign Language interpretation at 5:30 PM
