In 1950, Nic Gavalas, whose father was a master tailor and made clothing for a living, opened a small men’s clothing store on Monroe St. in Downtown Tallahassee with the dream of dressing the Southeast region with the finest quality of clothing. Today, over 60 years later, Nic’s Toggery continues to style the men of Tallahassee and those who visit with three convenient locations, the original in downtown and two locations in Market District.
