The Figurative Narrative

The Figurative Narrative is a group exhibition at the Florida A&M University Foster-Tanner Fine Arts Gallery featuring three veteran artists, Nan Liu, Eluster Richardson, and Jeff Whipple and their unique work within the contemporary figurative movement and painting medium.  These artists have presented captivating bodies of work focusing on portraying the world in imagery ranging from people in every day scenes to surrealistic portraiture.  We are excited to present these artists together for the fall 2025 semester.  This group exhibition offers a unique chance to view three notable artists’ varied approaches and subjectivity to figurative painting.
