Historic Landscapes: Planting a Mount Vernon Garden

Enjoy coffee and pastries while you learn about George Washington’s famous gardens at the Mount Vernon plantation. Spend time with UF/IFAS Leon County Extension Master Gardener Volunteers Susan Barnes and Tim Tankersley as they share how you might cultivate some of his favorite garden delights in North Florida. The event is free and open to the public.

This program is part of The George Washington Experience, the Museum’s signature project for the America250 commemoration.
