Learn MoreJoin us at Ruby Diamond Concert Hall for Glory to Peace, as the Tallahassee Community Chorus opens its 39th season with a program that celebrates the grandeur of song and the enduring hope for peace. Experience the jubilant praise of John Rutter’s Gloria, the exuberant spirit of Ralph Vaughan Williams’s Let All the World in Every Corner Sing, and the deeply moving power of Karl Jenkins’s The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace. From triumphant fanfares to poignant reflections on the human cost of conflict, these remarkable works invite us on a musical journey that reminds us of both the beauty of our shared humanity and the possibility of a more peaceful world. A stirring video presentation will accompany Karl Jenkins’s composition, the centerpiece of our concert and a powerful musical reflection on the devastation of war and the enduring hope for peace. Please note that the video contains intense imagery of war and violence that may be disturbing for children; parental discretion is advised.
