Discussion with Author Margaret Van Every April 22, 2026 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Margaret Van Every will read from her poetry collection In a Better Place: Poems of Metamorphosis (2024), followed by a group discussion. Her poems thoughtfully explore impermanence, mortality, and how people around the world experience grief, celebration, and remembrance. Rather than offering answers, her work invites us to embrace life’s inevitabilities and appreciate each moment more fully. Van Every is the author of three other poetry books. Signed copies of In a Better Place will be available for purchase.
