2027 Tallahassee Chess Fest

The Tallahassee Chess Fest is intended to be the largest gathering of the chess community in North Florida. As in previous years, we plan to invite two Grandmasters to lead instructional and exhibition activities, including blitz matches with live commentary streamed online, simultaneous exhibitions with attendees, and educational lectures accompanied by projected visuals. The live-streamed Grandmaster matches proved especially popular during the 2025 and 2026 festivals, particularly among younger audiences, significantly expanding the event’s reach beyond those attending in person.
