The 18th Annual Spring Literary Forum at Florida A&M University convenes writers, scholars, students, and community members for a rich exploration of literature, culture, and the evolving meanings of place and memory in the American South. This year’s forum features a keynote address by Tananarive Due on Friday, April 3 at 6:00 PM, alongside a thought-provoking talk by Marlo D. David on Thursday, April 2 at 3:30 PM. The program also includes a roundtable discussion on film and the southern landscape, as well as a panel on “The Memorial South,” inviting interdisciplinary conversations about history, representation, and cultural memory. Together, these events create a dynamic space for engaging ideas, critical reflection, and community dialogue. For a full list of events, see the schedule below.
