Now through August 24, venture Beyond Your Block and discover something new in every corner of the city. Whether its dining at a hidden gem restaurant, browsing a locally owned boutique, strolling through a historic neighborhood, or visiting one of our unique museums or attractions.

How to participate:

  1. Download the Visit Tallahassee mobile app.
  2. Click on “Challenges” and pick one of the Districts to Explore.
  3. Check in to at least two participating locations within the app to score an exclusive Beyond Your Block t-shirt.
  4. Each check in earns an entry to win a Grand Prize: a Tallahassee staycation including lodging, meals, activities, and more!

The “Blocks”

Uptown: Found on the northeast side of Tallahassee, check out this block including Thomasville Road from the Kerry Forest area to Bannerman Crossings and beyond.

Market District & More: With so much to explore, the Market District & More encompasses everything Capital Circle NE from Centerville Road to Thomasville Road, Market Street and Timberlane Road.

Midtown: Anchored by Hotel Duval on the southern end of this block, Midtown stretches to include North Monroe Street, Thomasville Road, the Betton area, Lake Ella & more.

CollegeTown: Explore why this block is always alive with the excitement of sports at FSU and TSC, the arts and culture of All Saints and Railroad Square, and more to the western edges of Leon County.

Southside: From FAMU to the coast and everything in between! Explore SoMo Walls, classic restaurants, breweries, the Southwood community, and some of the best natural adventures at Wakulla Springs and the St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge.

The Capitol Corridor: Heading east from the heart of Downtown to Mahan, Apalachee Parkway, Capital Circle and everything in between.
