Tom Brown Park
Whether you’re looking for adventure or a place to relax, Tom Brown Park is the perfect area to enjoy Mother Nature with your furry best friend. With three hiking trails, two bodies of water, and plenty of outdoor activities, this is one of Tallahassee’s largest and most popular parks. Here, you and your dog will enjoy numerous leashed activities such as 24-hole disc golf, hiking around Lake Leon, or running around beautiful soccer fields. If you want to let your dog run around free, there’s also a fenced dog park for some leash-free fun.

Lafayette Heritage Trail Park
If you’re looking for the perfect place to give your dog some exercise, head to Lafayette Heritage Trail Park. With almost three miles of beautiful unpaved paths that curve around Piney Z Lake, you and your dog will enjoy breathtaking views of the woodlands, picturesque sights of the lake, and majestic glimpses of local wildlife—turtles, alligators, and native birds.
San Luis Mission Park
San Luis Mission Park is a great place to escape into the lightly wooded country for a fun-filled day with your dog. Enjoy numerous leashed activities such as hiking around Diego’s Look, fishing on Lake Esther, or just relaxing in the shade in the picnic grounds. You can also find a fenced dog park where your furry friend can have some leash-free fun.
Lake Ella and Fred Drake Park
Conveniently located in Midtown Tallahassee, near Black Dog Café and The Growers’ Market, Lake Ella and Fred Drake Park is a great place to spend a leisurely day with your 4-legged pal. Enjoy a lovely walk around the lake, relaxing in the picnic pavilions, or watching the beautiful fountains.
Dorothy B. Oven Park
At Dorothy B. Oven Park, you’ll enjoy six acres of lush gardens filled with azaleas, camellias, palms and other local florals. With a mixture of paved and unpaved trails, several beautiful bridges, and fantastic picnic grounds, this is the ideal place to spend a great day with your furry best friend.
Bradfordville Dog Park
The largest dog park in the County, the Bradfordville Dog Park provides approximately 13 acres of space for dogs to co-mingle and play. The Bradfordville Dog Park is located adjacent to the County’s Bradfordville Community Center at 6808 Beech Ridge Trail. Share your experience at the park using #LCDogPark or #BradfordvilleBarkPark.
