Capital Circle Southeast Trail

Capital Circle SE
Tallahassee FL 32311
(850) 891-3866

Running along Capital Circle Southeast is the Capital Circle Connector trail that winds through Tallahassee for 5.7 miles. It begins as a concrete sidewalk, but as you travel further along the trail, it expands to a 10-12 ft. wide, multi-use paved path. A bike lane also exists on US 319 for those who prefer not to ride on the sidewalk. Due to frequent traffic on Capital Circle, the trail can be quite noisy; however, it connects you to some of Tallahassee’s most beautiful natural spaces. Just off Shumard Oak Blvd. is the Southwood Nature Trail that circles around a gorgeous pond. North of Apalachee Parkway and Capital Circle is the popular Lafayette Heritage Trail, and at the end of the Capital Circle SE path you will find the St Mark’s Historic Railroad State Trail. This is a great connector trail that can transport you through Tallahassee’s scenic trails and greenways.

Featured Uses: Walking/running and cycling. Leashed dogs are permitted.

Access: Capital Circle SE Greenway Trail

Amenities: Nearby parking, benches, and garbage cans.
