VISIT TALLAHASSEE LAUNCHES NEW WEBSITE AND MOBILE APP

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (March 2, 2020) The Leon County Division of Tourism / Visit Tallahassee proudly announces the launch of a new mobile-first website and destination mobile app.

With nearly 70% of visitors to VisitTallahassee.com viewing the site via their smart phone or tablet, the new mobile-first website was designed with the mobile users in mind including fast download speeds, rich media content to keep targeted audiences interested, less text, larger fonts and easy touchscreen navigation.  Available for view at VisitTallahassee.com, the new site utilizes the division’s Pretty.Unexpected. creative campaign through strong imagery and video.

The “Visit Tallahassee!” free mobile app for iPhone and Android users is packed with unique features including listings of places to stay, events, what to see and do, where to eat and drink, and local itineraries. The new app allows users to create custom itineraries based on their unique interests. Its most innovative features include the “Plan Your Trip” which allows users to add events, things to do, restaurants, etc. to their “My Plan” section which will then map out the best route to experience their selections. This feature can also be accessed on the new Visit Tallahassee website.
