Rainy Day Activities in Tallahassee
Indoor Fun for the Entire Family
If and when Tallahassee’s forecast includes rain, don’t let that get you down – there’s plenty of indoor fun to be had in the Capital City!
Burn off energy at one of Tallahassee’s more active indoor activity centers, Fun Station, Hangar 38, Urban Air, District 850 or Tallahassee Rock Gym.
Can’t make up your mind what you like more, arcade games, pinball or bowling? Then head out to Hangar 38 at Bannerman Crossing and enjoy all three under the same roof, along with some great grub from their in house menu at Zeppelins. Want to add in some Axe Throwing, Escape Rooms or Ropes Courses, head to District 850.
Peruse more than 40,000 artifacts and permanent exhibits spanning from prehistory to the space age at the Museum of Florida History (temporarily closed) or learn about the political history of our great state at the Florida Historic Capitol Museum.
Check out more than 170 rare automobiles, including a 1931 Duesenberg, the Tucker, three Batmobiles and numerous other collections at Tallahassee Automobile Museum.
Short on time, drive over to Railroad Square Art Park and play pinball by the hour at Flippin Great Pinball featuring 40+ classic games.
