Festivals & Carnivals

80th Annual North Florida FairNov. 3-13 2022, Times vary.

Only here for a limited time, this annual event will bring everyone joy! Come enjoy the midway rides, delicious food, and games the North Florida Fair offers. Tickets can be purchased online. Prices may vary.


Homecoming Activities

FAMU Marching 100

FAMU Homecoming Football Game – Oct. 28, 2022, 10 a.m.

Location: 1601 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Tallahassee FL, 32307

Join fans of this historical HBCU school (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) to celebrate this year’s homecoming! With festivities such as the Coronation of the King and Queen of Orange and Green FAMU, the homecoming parade, and the FAMU block party, fans can celebrate the Rattler way!

Frenchtown Rising – Oct. 28, 2022, 5 – 10 p.m.

Location: Macomb at Virginia Street, Tallahassee, FL 32301

This exclusive celebration for Rattler Nation will feature special appearances from R&B singer and Love & Hip Hop reality show star Lyrica Garrett, with music by special host DJ Demp.  Rapper Rick Ross will headline the show and is scheduled to hit the stage at 9pm. Vendors will provide an abundance of food options, desserts, healing essentials, clothing and more. Admission is free! For more information click here.

FAMU Homecoming Experience Concert October 29, 2022, 9:30 p.m.

Location: 1800 Wahnish Way, Tallahassee, FL 32310

This concert will be hosted at the Al Lawson Center and will feature hip hop artists City Girls, Latto, and more to be announced. Doors open at 8pm and the concert is scheduled to begin at 9:30pm. Concert details can be found here.

FSU Homecoming Football Game TBC

Location: Florida State University Tallahassee, FL 32306

Actor and comedian Rickey Smiley will bring his show of “clean” humor to Tallahassee for a night full of laughs! Tickets start at $77.


Arts & Culture

Beam With Pride Featuring Dan TaylorOct. 4 – Oct. 29, 2022, Times vary.

Celebrate LGBTQ+ History Month with a stroll through Leymoyne Arts as artist Dan Taylor focuses his exhibition on LGBTQ+ related themes, providing support for this community in an artistic way. A silent auction will take place October 6-21 so make sure to visit then to experience just a piece the arts in Tallahassee.

Mapping: The Work of a Textile Artist by Valerie S. GoodwinSept. 28 – Dec. 28, 2022, Times vary.

Anderson Brickler Gallery is excited to announce the Fall 2022 exhibit containing a series of textile art creations made of fabric and mixed media materials, using techniques that Ms. Goodwin developed over the last few decades. The gallery will host a reception for Ms. Goodwin on Saturday October 8, 2022, from 2 to 5 pm. An Artist Talk by Ms. Goodwin is scheduled for Saturday December 10, 2022, from 3 to 4 pm.
