Plein Air Drawing from Nature with Artist Julie Bowland

Join us for a plein air drawing workshop with artist Julie Bowland. This workshop is for artists of all skill levels and will include a brief instructional lecture in the Pebble Hill Learning Center and a wagon ride/ecology tour through the woods of Pebble Hill to the site where participants will draw inspiration from nature to create oil pastel interpretations of the chosen scenic area. Participants are welcome to bring their own choice of drawing/painting materials, but oil pastels will be provided as will all other materials needed for the workshop.
Bowland is a full-time professional artist, recently retired from teaching art and directing the gallery at Valdosta State University. Her art can be seen at http://juliebowland.com
