Letters to Kai

Come see the full production of our Playwriting Fellowship winner, “Letters to Kai” by Alexa Schoffel and our first ever Directing Fellowship winner, Emerson Haven! It’ll be performing in the Globe Auditorium at 8pm on March 24th and 25th, and at 2pm on the 26th. About this play:

Kai and Bella have been pen pals since they were kids. Their long-distance friendship is sustained by a weekly phone call in which they open each other’s letter and discuss the updates that letter holds. However, after Bella has moved to college, new strain is put on their friendship as both Kai and Bella face new and old stressors. Bella struggles to fit into her new life away from home, while Kai juggles multiple jobs in an attempt to keep him and his abusive mother afloat. As tensions rise, will the two of them manage to stay best friends?
