Habari Gani? It’s Kwanzaa time! Join speakers Rhamira Joi and Edith Allen Corbett during LeMoyne’s Multicultural Holiday Celebration as they teach the history of Kwanzaa, why it is celebrated in the African American community, and how you can live in the spirit of “Harambee” within your own community.
Make sure to add your name to the Kwanzaa raffle for a chance to win an “Ujamaa” Basket filled with goodies from Tallahassee Black-owned businesses.
Finally, we’ll close out the evening with a performance of traditional African dancing by Ayoka Afrikan Troupe.
Free for LeMoyne Arts Members, $10 for Non-Members (includes a free $5 re-entry ticket for the rest of the exhibit).
