Florida’s two sovereign tribal nations have deep roots in Tallahassee and their cultural connections span generations, each gathering new dynamics and life for revered traditions. On the evening of September 18, a moderated discussion will take place in the historic Senate Chambers. Hear how these young artists strengthen tribal traditions through individual artistic expression and explore their inspiration and processes.
This program complements the temporary exhibition Becoming Florida’s Capital on display at the Historic Capitol Museum through January 5, 2025.
