Finding Joy, Linda Pelc

Linda Pelc has for the last 15 years been teaching “Experimental Watercolor” at the Tallahassee Senior Center.  Previously a career high school art teacher, Linda is proficient in several media but she chooses to explore the complexities of watercolor in her own work. In her Senior Center class, Linda challenges students to investigate creative ways of interacting with her favorite medium. Teacher and  students work side by side developing new techniques for applying paint to surface.

Linda Pelc’s subjects are taken from her travel, her personal interactions with others, and her love of bright shinny objects. The finished work maybe realistic, or abstract.
