Disney's "Beauty and the Beast"

The popular Tony Award winning family-friendly musical will be presented in the Leon High School Auditorium, July 8-17, 2022. Adapted from the original Disney film, the musical, featuring forty-seven local high school students, brings to life the timeless story of a selfish and hot-tempered prince who is turned into a hideous monster. In order to regain his humanity, the prince must win the affection of a beautiful, young woman, Belle.
With music direction by Tabitha Peck, choreography by Anna Norris and stage direction by Robert A. Stuart, the musical includes the classic scores of “A Change in Me”, “Be Our Guest”, “If I Can’t Love Her” and the title song, “Beauty and the Beast”.   A feast for the eyes, the musical features a stunning set by Set Designer, Casey Blanton; creative and colorful costumes by Linda Bulecza, Machelle Thompson, Wanda Tillman and Claudia Dew; and spectacular lighting by Patrick Campbell.
The cast and crew encourage all attendees to dress as their favorite Beauty and the Beast character.  After the show you can have your picture taken on stage with Belle and the Prince.
