Silkscreen printmaking represents a way of utilizing all of Wiltsher’s talents (drawing, painting, drafting, collage, etc.) in one medium with the immediacy of color. This collection of works – “Crowns, Concerns, and Eyes Wide Open” – represent multiple sides of his existence as an artist.  One to chronicle events for further discourse; one to celebrate the beauty of black aesthetic; and the other as a combination of the two with the intention of having an open dialogue alongside the appreciation of beauty.

Wiltsher’s artworks will be on display from September 09 to November 07, 2022, in person at the Artport Gallery or virtually in COCA’s Online Gallery. A future expansion of his artwork will be on display in additional space with details to be announced later.

We also have two special events for Wiltsher’s exhibition. First, on September 15th, join us at the Artport for an Opening Reception from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Second, please also join us for an Artist Talk on September 29 at noon to learn more about the artist, his background, creative process, artworks, and all the things that inspire him.
