The Council on Culture & Arts is pleased to present “Repurposed” Paintings by local artist, Tracy Foutz-Hunt. Her solo show will be at the City Hall Gallery and COCA’s Online Gallery. Join us for the opening reception and artist talk!
This collection of works consists of old papers repurposed as a tribute to the draftsmen that drew the originals. Many of the objects they reproduced are obsolete now, as the drafting tables once employed are now replaced by laptops. The paints Tracy applies over these papers are mostly translucent, allowing for delicate lines and figures to peep through.
