Charlie & Tonja Ward along with honorary chairs, Maria and Mike Norvell, invite you to enjoy a gourmet breakfast prepared by Chef Leon Brunson as we celebrate 30 Years of the Winning Spirit reflecting on Florida State University’s first National Championship and first Heisman Trophy Winner in 1993 and look forward to a winning 2023 season.
Come celebrate local Champions. Coach Sue Semrau will be presented with the 5th Charlie Ward Distinguished Excellence Award, and the inaugural Ann & Bobby Bowden Family Legacy Award will be presented to Dr. Tom Haney and Dr. & Mrs. Alex J. Brickler.
David Ross, the Manager of the Chicago Cubs and notable Tallahassee native, will be the Featured Guest for Charlie’s Chalk Talk.
This event will support the Ward Family Foundation’s expansion to offer more transformational programming for youth and families to experience personal growth in mind, body, and spirit that will equip them to walk in their destiny and impact their worlds.
Youth sports can help mitigate mental health, build self-esteem, foster a strong sense of community, empower the discovery of passions and purposes, and equip young people to be contributing citizens. The Ward foundation is committed to being a part of the solution to cultivating a community of Champions on and off the field!
