2023 Jefferson County Watermelon Festival

Celebrating a summertime tradition in Monticello since 1949. From pageants to parades, bed races and barbeque, this event offers small town fun for the entire family. For those who would rather not exert themselves in the summer heat, we’re offering delicious food, a beer garden, street dancing and of course sweet slices of watermelon. Plan to come on down and sit a spell as we celebrate our time-honored tradition that says summertime in Monticello.
