Our goals are to ensure pregnant women have access to care and to improve maternal and infant health through healthy pregnancy education child development education breastfeeding education women’s health education & support and care coordination.
Since the inception of Healthy Start infant mortality has dropped by as much as 20 percent. Consequently we were proud to host our 2022 Angel Awards: Silent Auction & Benefit in support of local women babies and families. Staff sponsors and attendees will gather August 18th to recognize our community partners and celebrate the incredible efforts made by Healthy Start and our honorees Dr. Amandla Haynes Miaisha Mitchell & Leon County Emergency Medical Services!
