Corporate Social Responsibility
The Tallahassee Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, in partnership with Visit Florida, is thrilled to offer your corporate clientele vast opportunities to exercise Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) during their next stay in the Capital City.
In its essence, CSR has companies pairing up with non-profit organizations and devoting a portion of their time volunteering for them. Often companies will do this in the town they are located in, but growing in popularity is the opportunity to volunteer in the community where they host their large meetings and annual conferences.
To date, big-name companies such as Starbucks actively participate in CSR as a way to give-back to the community, environment and others. If your group has as little as two hours of unscheduled time, we have myriad possibilities for you to consider. By participating, your company will also benefit from free publicity on the TACVB website, within our monthly and weekly newsletters (where applicable) and potentially on the non-profits website as well.
